We are the 5th iRevolution, our Beliefs and Minds – Changing gears

Given the unique evolutionary and inclusive circumstances of 2020, now more than ever, any outdated thinking and systems in many arenas, for example, Education, Enterprise and Entrepreneurship,  will be replaced with niche new methodologies that match the trends, by intentionally empowering transformation in building renewed confidence, trust and innovation.  

We do this by shifting our mindsets. It starts with each of us.   In the 4th IR, we each are now, the next, 5th “rEvolution”.  It is up to each of us, to face our biggest single most obstacle that might be blocking our thinking to a path of success. Our minds.

The time is now that we revolutionise our thinking, create new mindsets and breathe hope into a future we choose. It is up to each of us.   It starts within each of us.  The secret is how we do it, and how to match the trends of being able to do, it laser fast!

To understand how a mindset is created, is an easy starting point to understanding the brain and mind.  Our brain creates neural pathways, based on repetitive behaviour.  The behaviour is as a result of our daily actions.  Our actions are a result of our thinking.  Our thinking is a result of our dreams, our goals, our desires, our survival, our culture. 

Bottom line, our actions are usually as a result of our beliefs around each of these areas, or as a result of our experiences that create beliefs.  What we believe to be true about each, what each means to us individually, and our attitudes around each belief.  Most importantly, how we interpret and intend to use these to create a life of meaning, purpose and impact or to adopt in business cultures.

There is also a generally accepted school of thought, along the lines of having 3 basic, different types of mindsets; Fixed, Growth and Benefit mindsets.

It makes sense therefore, that we are consistently creating Mindsets from our beliefs and experiences of those beliefs.  In order to change, shape and shift a mindset, a Coach would look at the beliefs and thinking around those beliefs, to create a different perspective.  This is turn would create an opportunity to action different behaviours to create different results. It’s an evolutionary process.
