Respect, as the unknown killer of Economic growth

Respect as the unknown killer, is a conversation many prefer not to have!

Why –  Respect is a Missing ingredient in many households, and therefore, in the business world.  Way too many delicate EGOS won’t allow the admission of this, as it calls to action a MUCH bigger challenge to be faced, is Capitalism and Self Actualisation!

We see lack of Respect STILL showing up in the common areas, with gender inequality in many business environments, with bullying in many arenas, with domestic violence, with services and products being bartered down to next to nothing and barely covering cost of item or services.

NB – When it comes to services especially, this equates with disrespect to the service provider.  By way of an example, When it suits us to be dictated to regarding minimum wage to be pad for domestic cleaning, we gladly follow suit. Yet when we get dictated to regarding municipal services pricing increases, we protest the instruction!  Inequality at a totally different level?

To bring Respect back,  in a blanket and trending manner, would mean to change the way everyone is treated, to be more equal, will therefore create the overdue improved economic balance, and also implies this will overflow to services given and received, i.e. the HUMAN Element!

Idealistic maybe, but it certainly would shift the competitive edge and misleading impressionable product and service advertising, if we had a more general way of approaching all that has an economic impact, short or long term?

How this would positively affect households is that more people would learn to SEE and HEAR each other, when connecting.  Respect for all that is around us, also implies Respect from whence they have come, the service and products they provide.  The bonus in this shift of awareness and consciousness, is that we would each begin to recognise the current levels of own Self Respect and the role of healthy boundaries.

What are therefore, the intrinsic Values based qualities that feed Respect?  What else would you add to this list?

  1. Kindness
  2. Patience
  3. Gratitude
  4. Appreciation
  5. Loyalty
  6. Compassion
  7. Honesty
  8. Fairness
  9. Peace

What would YOU therefore see, as the Highest and Deepest positive outcome to generating more Respect in our world?

I see many more open Heart Based Connections!

Connect, lets unpack how we can each and together, make an impact with generating more Respect?

Warm regards

Charlotte
